Moscow will fulfill all its obligations as main natural gas provider in Europe, said Russia president Dmitri Medvedev in an interview for Euronews. The leader in Kremlin ensured European that they have no reason to expect a cold winter, "because it is in no one's interest".

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin also declared on Sunday that Russia does not intend to limit its oil and gas exports towards Europe. "We will respect our contracted obligations and even will expand and diversify the export possibilities for these products", said Putin in an interview for the Rossia station.

In the interview for Euronews on Tuesday night, Medvedev emphasized that he does not recognize Mikhail Sakaashvili as leader of Georgia. Referring to the EU decision to avoid imposing sanctions against Russia, the head of state said that it is disappointing that the Union doesn't understand the reasons for Russia's actions in the Georgia.
