Ukraine's parliamentary speaker Arseni Yatsheniuk announced on Tuesday the dismantle of the governing pro-Western coalition, throwing Ukraine in a new political crisis that could lead to Ukraine PM Yulia Timoshenko's resignation.

Yatsheniuk declared that it was time for Ukraine to turn the political history page and start all over again. He added that Ukraine was facing a new challenge in its democratic transition. The announcement represents the official divorce of the President's party and those sustaining PM Timoshenko.

The permanent conflict between President Yushcenko and the Prime Minister unfolded during the Russia-Georgia conflict. Experts declared that the two might also be counter-candidates for the 2009 presidential elections to be held in Ukraine.

The presidential party announced that they expect that Timoshenko's bloc to form a pro-Kremlin coalition with other political organizations in the country.
