Russia natural gas giant Gazprom reopened the gas deliveries towards Europe this morning, at 9:00 AL (Romania time), a company spokesman declared for AFP. Russia and Ukraine signed an agreement on Monday in terms that should lead to the end of the gas crisis.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Iulia Timoshenko declared that Russia reopened gas deliveries towards Europe, via Ukraine, at 3:00 AM GMT. Russia PM Vladimir Putin also declared that deliveries towards Europe will restart as soon as possible and that the presence of European observers at gas entry and exit points is no longer required.
