A Romanian accused of setting a striptease club on fire in Washington was convicted to 30 years and 8 months in jail, the WUSA TV station informs. Two years ago, Vasile Graure set fire to the "Good Guys" club after he was bounced off by a bodyguard. A security employee suffered severe burns on 80% of the body surface and was hospitalized for 17 months.

Prosecutors demanded a 45 years sentence. Graure claims that he doesn’t remember setting the place on fire and has never apologized to the victim. Judge Robert Richter said that the severe sentence was influenced by Graure's lack of remorse.
