A Romanian citizen was arrested in Moldova, being accused of involvement in the events that took place during the week, the Chisinau Prosecution Office announced on Friday. The arrest of Jordan N. comes within the investigation conducted for organizing mass rioting and instigation to bringing down the state power.

Prosecutors say that they found at his residence several specially adapted flammable substances, copies of Chisinau maps, pictures of the administration buildings, including pictures of the Parliament and the Presidency buildings.

The announcement comes two days after president Vladimir Voronin accused Romania of being involved in the mass protests against the Communist power.
