Vladimir Voronin's party is Communist only by name, while the president's son became the richest man in the country, a fact that "is not an attribute of the true Communists", said officials of the ex-Soviet Space Communists’ Party, accusing the leaders in Chisinau of duplicity.

In a review of several analysis published by Russian newspapers and positions adopted by Communist leaders, Unimedia.md concludes that the authority of the Moldovan Communist Party decreased and that the Opposition, despite failing to put up a "revolution" may raise serious problems for the Communists' fresh mandate.
