Stanislav Gropa is the second candidate the Moldovan Communist party holds up in the running for Moldova’s presidential elections. He joined the candidates’ list last night, one hour prior to the deadline.

The neurosurgeon from the Emergency Clinic County Hospital in Chisinau is backed by 15 communist deputies, BASA press informs. The communist party also supports Zinaida Gropa’s candidacy. She is the incumbent Prime-Minister and her decision to run for president is backed by 33 communist deputies.
