Bran Castle, commercially known as Dracula’s castle, is officially reopening its gates for visitors on Monday. The castle is no longer in the administration of the Romanian state. It belongs now to the family of princess Ileana of Romania.

On Monday, June 1, for Children’s Day, children will be granted free entry to the castle. They are awaited at the "Medieval School", to paint, learn to handle the bow and the sword and to paint eggs.

The local town hall will take this opportunity to launch its Chateau de Bran wine. "Anton Pann" music band will hold an old music concert, aired live on Radio Romania.

Dominique of Habsburg, heir of the Bran Castle, is the son of archduke Anton of Habsburg and of princess Ileana of Romania, daughter of Romanian king Ferdinand and queen Maria.
