Victor Hanescu qualified in the third round at Wimbledon today, after a far win against French Nicolas Devilder (world no. 96) score 6-2, 6-3, 6-1.

"Hane" started the match in good shape, and managed to distance himself thanks to two breaks. The Romanian needed 33 minutes to score 6-2.

The French was overwhelmed by Victor Hanescu's precise strikes in the second set as well, which world's no 32 won score 6-3. After another 24 minutes, the French lost the third set as well, score 6-1.

By qualifying into the third round at Wimbledon, Victor Hanescu shows that his performance in Roland Garros was not just a happy accident.
