Romania, as a state did not participate in the April 7 protests in the Republic of Moldova, Moldovan general prosecutor Valeriu Gurbulea declared on Wednesday. He added that only some forms of involvement were registered like cyber attacks on the websites of state institutions from Romania, Unimedia.md informs.

Gurbulea declared, in a press conference that the April 7 protests have an organized character. We have evidence that shows that some of the students who took part in the manifestations were paid, Gurbulea said. Radical groups also attempted to enter the country during that period, he added.

When prompted if the general prosecutors identified any police officers that beat the students after the April 7 protests, he said that many arrested persons claim that they were tortured but it is hard to identify those persons because they had their faces covered.
