The investigation of prosecutors in Singapore concluded that former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu was the one driving the Embassy's car in the night when the car was involved in a deadly accident, causing the injury of two persons and the death of another. The announcement was made by investigator Victor Yeo, who concluded his investigation after hearing 54 witnesses, in six days, Channel News Asia reads.

A black Audi, pertaining to Romania's Embassy in Singapore was involved in two accidents, around 3 AM local time. Two persons were injured and one died 10 days later. The diplomat is officially accused of murder, leaving the site of the accident and false in declarations.

Silviu Ionescu was suspended from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the investigation.
