Bulgarian Foreign Affairs Ministry wants to shut down 30 diplomatic missions of a total of 111 existing so far, Trud daily reads on Monday, quoted by Novinite. Some of the missions proposed to be shut down are in EU and NATO member states.

According to the information, among those proposed for closure are those located in Ireland, Norway, Lavia, Slovakia, Chile, Mexico, Morrocco, Tunis, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Pakistan, Mongolia, North Korea, Thailand and Cambodgia.

The publication reads that there will be a second closure wave that will include embassies in Venezuela, Cuba, Portugal and Vatican. However, a member of the Foreign Affairs ministry, Vesela Cherneva denied the information.
