Former business attache to the Romanian Embassy in Singapore, Silviu Ionescu declared on Tuesday that the file involving him in the accident in December 2009 is the second attempt of the state to denigrate him, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs.

Local Bucharest court needs to start debates on Tuesday in the file in which Ionescu is judged for murder, leaving the scene of the accident and false in declarations. The court discussed a request of temporary release under judicial control for Ionescu.

Ionescu claimed that the Singapore state tried to denigrate him before in a similar case like that in December 2009. Ionescu said that at the time he was not accused as Ionescu was proved he was at a meeting with 80 Ambassadors at the time of the claimed accident.
