A gypsie from a camp in Montpellier declared that he would rather die than return to Romania, before the evacuation of his camp, Midi Libre reads in its Monday edition. The gypsie, aged around 50, declared that in Romania he cannot receive the medical care he gets in France, nor the medicine.

He said that the medicine he needs can only be found there. The gypsies are ready to work, they would like to have a household and they know that the law does not allow them to remain on French soil if they cannot justify their revenues.
