A 25 year old Romanian, established in Italy, in Abruzzo region attempted suicide on Sunday, September 26 during a video chat with an Italian friend. The girl took several pills with alcohol in front of the webcam and announced her plans to kill herself, local publication Abruzzo24 reads.
Several minutes after she took the pills, she lost consiousness. The young man whom she was talking to was in Sicily and alerted the local police in Messina who announced their colleagues from Pescara, nearby the girl.
The police managed to identify the apartment where the girl was living and they broke down the door. They found the girl and transferred her to the hospital where doctors attended for her.
She is out of danger.
