Ballots at the voting sections in Moscow, Padua, Bologna and Paris finished, the Central Electoral Committee general secretary Iurie Ciocan declared, Jurnal.md informs. There were 3,000 ballots for each voting section and authorities decided to let people vote on papers.

This is the only solution found to solve the problem, a member of the Electoral Committee declared for Jurnal.md. It is possible that the votes cast on paper will not be validated by the Constitutional Court.

Republic of Moldova opened about 75 voting sections abroad, for 600,000 citizens. Generally, in the last years 19,000 people voted in the September referendum and 17,000 at the July elections.
