The Italian disciplinary committee decided to suspend Romanian Cristi Chivu four games, after he hit a Bari player, Marco Rossi in the game the team of the Romanian international, Inter Milan won with 3 to 0.

The incident between Chivu and Marco Rossi was not seen by any of the arbiters of the game so that he escaped elimination. The disciplinary committee analyzed the video footage of the moment and decided to suspend him for the next four games his team will play in the A series, claiming that the gesture of the Inter Milan football player was premeditated. After the game, Chivu apologized to Rossi, his fans and his children and said that he had a blackout.
