The simple motion tabled by the main Opposition party, Social Democrats (PSD) - "Stop the degradation of living conditions. Stop the irresponsible action in energy" - will be subject for debates on Tuesday in the Romanian Senate. The document demands for the natural gas price to stop growing, protection for citizens with low and average income and a national program against poverty.
The motion also demands the opening of "true negotiations" with the Russian Federation, in order to stop the price growth for imported oil, natural gas and coal and the involvement of Romania in projects related to the transport of oil towards Western Europe.
