The President of the International Advertising Association Romania chapter, Felix Tataru was elected IAA Worldwide vice-president just as the IAA World Congress begins in Washington this week, a press release of the organization informs. The 41st world congress of the Association is taking place on April 7-9 and the agenda's theme is What's coming next?.

Felix Tataru, who heads Romanian advertising agency GMP, was named vice-president as prior to the opening of the congress IAA Romania's educational project IAA School was presented as "good practice" at an event on education in the sector. IAA Romania is also nominated for Chapter Excellence Award - Golden Tulip, a distinction recognising the best IAA chapter in the world.

The Congress marks 70 years since IAA was set up and hosts hundreds of delegations from 65 countries - leaders of the industry, governmental officials, media representatives and other international institutions, including the European Commission.
