The price per oil barrel crossed the 130$ record in New York on Wednesday, the main causes being the fear regarding the future production levels and the low reserves, FoxNews.com informs. The oil barrel was 130.05$ at NYSE, while the price in London was 129.53 dollars. The price set the 129 dollars record on Tuesday.

Experts say the growing price was caused by OPEC, which refused to increase the production level until the next meeting, scheduled for September.
