Virgin Media, on of the largest media companies in the United Kingdom, put up a series of short films introducing the teams about to confront in the Euro 2008 football championship. The short films present the best player of each team, but also the country's symbols. For Germany - the Brandenburg Gate, for Italy - the Coliseum and for Romania - fat gypsies with thick gold necklaces.

Virgin Televisions has some 3.4 million subscribers, offering Internet, mobile and wired telephony services.
