Local officials in Constanta, SE Romania launched an investigation and would submit a complaint at the Doctors College following the death of a teenage girl who was carried urgently to the Constanta Emergency Hospital, but could not be hospitalized because the doctor on duty would not let her in.

The girl, 17, was in the care of a community service complex under the Child Protection welfare department in Constanta when she was carried to the hospital. She was suffering from birth of a brain affection. Her condition became very serious on Friday and was transported to the hospital, but after basic investigations the doctor on duty decided she stayed under supervision, but not in the hospital.

Several hours later, the girl died.
