A teenager died because doctors at an emergency hospital in Baia Mare, North Romania sent her back home despite having high fever, while nurses objected her showing up at the hospital as the case, their said, was not urgent. It's the second such case within days after a young girl died in Constanta as doctors at an emergency hospital there refused to have her hospitalized.

The girl showed up at the Baia Mare hospital but was sent home as she showed the symptoms of a simple flu. She then was brought again to the hospital this Monday, with high fever, but was sent back home again. Within days, the girl was hardly breathing and was transported to another hospital in a different town, but she died within hours. The cause of death was meningitis, according to Romanian news station Realitatea TV.
