Economy minister Varujan Vosganian announced, on Saturday, in Iasi North Romania that Romania's budget will be presented in the Parliament next week, after the Government discussed it on Wednesday, news agency NewsIn informs. Vosganian added that capital spending represents 20% of the budget for the first time.

Present at the launch of the Liberal candidates running for a seat in the Parliament in general elections this fall, Vosganian declared that the budget needed to be approved by the end of the year since it covers massive allocations for investments.

Vosganian declared that if the budget passes after January 2009, many investments would be lost. He was very optimistic regarding the chances of the budget to pass soon and declared that a political solution will be found to push the budget faster.
