Over 70% of Romanians continue to go to work when they caught a cold, a recent study conducted by the Apothecaries' Association (CFR) indicates. 16% of the Romanians find their own treatment, 36% consult a doctor and 20% consult a pharmacist.

CFR vice president Clara Popescu warns that the common cold should not be underestimated, since it can lead to complications such as ear infections, laryngitis, pneumonia and tonsillitis. Healthy food is also strongly recommended.
