Three of the most important teachers' unions, Alma Mater, Free Unions and National Education organize a warning strike between 12-14 pm on Monday in universities across Romania. Moreover, the three unions, together with the Spiru Haret union (which organized a strike a week ago) will protest in front of the Parliament, Radio Romania Actualitati informs.

Union vice president Mariana Becic declared that all pupils are required to be in class while professors will resume at supervising them. Teachers threaten to enter in a general strike on November 18 if the 50% salary increase is not implemented soon.

On Tuesday, union representatives will meet government representatives again to negotiate.
