Theodor Stolojan declared on Monday that he will not accept the nomination as Prime Minister. HotNews.ro sources declared that the main reason for his withdrawal is the alliance PDL signed with the Social Democrats.
According to sources, President Traian Basescu will nominate PDL leader Emil Boc instead. President Basescu summoned all political parties for negotiations at Cotroceni at 1pm and he declared, a press conference will be held after the meeting.
UPDATE: Sources within the Presidency declared that that President Basescu sign the decree nominating Emil Boc as the new Prime Minister. Liberal Bogdan Olteanu declared that his party was not summoned for negotiations.
