Leaders of the two governing parties, Democrat Liberals and Social Democrats will meet on Tuesday night to decide the allocation of the resources for the upcoming year. Meanwhile the working agenda contains 20 anti-crisis measures that will be included in the budget.

The 70 anti-crisis measures from the initial package would have totaled as much as five times Romania's budget, according to the National Union Bloc leader Dumitru Costin.

Today's talks are preceded by a meeting of the leaders of the two parties. The government is set to approve the final form of the 2009 budget on Thursday.
