Social Democratic Vice President in Suceava, North Romania Ovidiu Dontu declared on Friday that the Social Democratic Party has seven demands regarding the IMF loan so that the party can assume an honest relation with the Democrat Liberals and in the same time fulfill their obligations towards the citizens, Mediafax informs.

He explained that his party upholds that the money should be used to support the public sector and not the private one, to maintain jobs and protect the purchasing power of the population. Moreover, the Social Democratic Party considers that banks need to relaunch the credit lines and not repatriate their profits. Plus, the government should push to join the euro zone and have transparent negotiations and spending of the EU funds and support education and health funds.

If these conditions will be accepted, the party will be able to assume an honest relation to the Social Democratic Party and prove their loyalty to the governance program.
