A woman died asphyxiated in a fire sparked at the Parliament headquarters in Chisinau, the capital of the Republic of Moldova, during anti-communist protests on Tuesday, according to the state television quoted by AFP.

The television opted to broadcast documentaries about priests and jazz concerts during the protests in Chisinau.

At least 200 people are believed to have been injured during the protests today, according to medical sources quoted by BASA-press, quoted by Romanian news agency Mediafax.
