Romania registered a commercial deficit of 600 million euro, a 57% decrease compared to the same month last year, according to Eurostat data. Romania is ranked eight in the EU commercial deficit top.

The biggest commercial deficit was registered by Great Britain (8.9 billion euro) followed by France with 5.6 billion euro, Spain with 4.1 billion euro, Italy with 3.6 billion euro, Greece with 2.3 billion euro, Portugal 1.3 billion euro and Poland 1 billion euro.

In the euro zone, the commercial deficit deepened to 2.0 billion euro, from 1.7 billion euro in February 2008.
