The Greek Saldanha ship, kidnapped by Somali pirates was released on Sunday with its 22 sailors on board, including two Romanians, Romanian Foreign Affairs ministry informs. The ship was kidnapped on February 22.

Romanians Adrian Hududui from Brasov, central Romania and board engineer Marius Strambeanu from Constanta, South East Romania are in good health and their families informed. Romania's Foreign Affairs ministry, together with the Romanian Embassy to Athens and Greek authorities were in constant negotiations with the Somali pirates.

The ship was kidnapped on route to Slovenia with 22 sailors on board: two Romanians, 19 Philippines and one Ukrainian. As the ship was captured, Hududui told his wife that the situation is dangerous, as the kidnappers had guns and used drugs frequently.
