Victor Crivoi qualified into the second round of the Grand Slem tournament in Paris after winning against German player Simon Greul. He took al three sets, scoring 6-1, 7-6 (1), 6-2. In the women’s competition, Monica Niculescu was eliminated by Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak in three sets, score 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
Crivoi won the first set in 23 de minutes, the second in 53 minutes and the last set in 31 minutes. Victor will be awarded 24.500 euro and 45 ATP points for this success.
Monica Niculescu had to leave Paris Open, unfortunately, after favourite number 24 Aleksandra Wozniak took her out of the competition.
