Romanian tennis player Sorana Carstea qualified in the Roland Garros Grand Slem third round, after winning two sets against French Alize Cornet.
Sorana Carstea won the first set after 51 minutes. The second set was won after 42 minutes. Sorana will meet Danish player Caroline Wozniacki, who won against American Jill Craybass, scoring 6-1 and 6-4.
In the doubles, Romanian Monica Niculescu / Vania King (SUA) qualified in the third round, taking out the Estonian couple Maret Ani / Kaia Kanepi, score 6-0, 6-2. The game lasted one hour and four minutes.
