162 Romanian citizens voted on the Romanian lists for the European Parliamentary elections on Sunday, June 7. 60 persons voted for PDL, while PRM managed to raise 43 votes.

  • PRM                       43 votes – 26.55%
  • Elena Basescu   16 votes – 9.88%
  • PNL                       15 votes – 9.26%
  • PSD+PC               14 votes – 8.64%
  • PNTCD                   3 votes – 1.85%
  • Abraham Pavel    3 votes – 1.85%
  • UDMR                     2 votes – 1.24%
  • The Civic Force    1 vote – 0.61%
  • Invalid votes          5 votes – 3.08%

The 162 people voting in the Romanian Diaspora from Dublin represent a historic minimum turnout. Last year’s elections had the lowest turnout until now, with 188 people casting their vote.
