PRM gained over 26% of the votes in the Romanian Diaspora in Dublin. PDL won

162 Romanian citizens voted on the Romanian lists for the European Parliamentary elections on Sunday, June 7. 60 persons voted for PDL, while PRM managed to raise 43 votes.

This is how the 162 Romanians from Ireland cast their vote in Dublin:

  • PDL                        60 votes – 37.04%
  • PRM                       43 votes – 26.55%
  • Elena Basescu   16 votes – 9.88%
  • PNL                       15 votes – 9.26%
  • PSD+PC               14 votes – 8.64%
  • PNTCD                   3 votes – 1.85%
  • Abraham Pavel    3 votes – 1.85%
  • UDMR                     2 votes – 1.24%
  • The Civic Force    1 vote – 0.61%
  • Invalid votes          5 votes – 3.08%
The 162 people voting in the Romanian Diaspora from Dublin represent a historic minimum turnout. Last year’s elections had the lowest turnout until now, with 188 people casting their vote.
