The patient is a man who travelled with the same plane as the young girl hospitalised last week. They flew from Canada to Timisoara. He sat in the seat behind her.
The man has been hospitalised at the same health institution as the girl, namely "Victor Babes" Infectious Diseases Hospital in Timisoara. He is currently under specific antiviral therapy, and the doctors say his state records a favourable evolution.
Timis Public Health Authority has started an epidemiologic investigation for tracking any their possible infection. This is the 17th A/ N1H1 infection case recorded in Romania.
