Romanian boxer Lucian Bute will defend his world champion belt in a match with Mexican Librado Andrade. The rights to organize the fight was won by Golden Boy in the detriment of Interbox with 1,211,000 dollars. Bute declared he is disappointed he will not play at Montreal.
Andrade's representatives will set the date and the place of the fight in about 15 days. Romanian Bute declared that he is ready to fight with anybody, anywhere. He added that this is Andrade's chance to gain the belt he lost back in October 2008. Ever since, Andrade contested the decision of the arbiters, who appointed Bute as winner, based on the points accumulated during the match.
