Constanta's mayor Radu Mazare will be investigated by local prosecutors for his Nazi faship apparel in Mamaia seaside resort, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. Prosecutor Adina Florea declared that an official complaint to the supreme tribunal was submitted against mayor Radu Mazare and on Monday prosecutors declined the competence of the local prosecutors.
Eight days ago, Mazare appeared on a fashion catwalk dressed in a Nazi outfit. He was accompanied by his son, who had a similar costume. Mazare was severely criticized for the incident both by his political adversaries and by his party colleagues.
