Leaders of the opposition are due to meet at 12pm in the Senate with Klaus Johannis. Negotiations come just a day after Social Democrats, Liberals and Hungarian Democrats announced that they will endorse Johannis as Prime Minister.

On Wednesday morning Johannis declared for Romanian news agency NewsIn that he is willing to negotiate with parties, and he is ready to take on the job. Leaders of the opposition decided on Tuesday night to endorse a limited mandate government, lead by technocrats with an independent Prime Minister.
