The 2009 Nobel Prize for Literature winner, Herta Muller, has reloaded criticism about Romania, a country which she says has yet to move away from communism. 40% of people now in power in Romania come from the Securitate - the communist era secret police - and are protecting each other, she was quoted by Romanian news agency NewsIn as saying at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

She spoke of a "typical post-dictatorship society loaded with corruption" and warned about the risks that communism become favored again on the background of the economic crisis.
