I am a diplomat, after all and the Foreign Affairs ministry is extremely important for me and I think that the foreign policy should not depend on internal political scandals which is why I decided to be on the list, Bogdan Aurescu declared, in a declaration for HotNews.ro.

Aurescu declared that he is well aware of the changes of this government in the Parliament but that he believes that just the fact that he is on Croitoru's list is a sign to normality for the Foreign Affairs.

I still am the diplomat the people got to know during the Hague process and I have no political affiliations, Aurescu said. I have a 13 years experience in the ministry and I know it very well, he underlined.

Moreover, he said that the Romanian diplomacy needs a stable and professional management to adapt and face the challenges on the international level.
