Vasile Blaga was approved by the Parliamentary committees as Minister of Regional Development and Tourism with 34 votes for and 28 against. Hungarian Democratic Parliamentarians voted with their Democrat Liberal colleagues while Social Democrats and Liberals voted against. Several Parliamentary committees reunited on Wednesday to hear Vasile Blaga.
The approval of committees is solely consultative and the Croitoru government will be validated by the Parliament in a common meeting of the Chambers. To pass, the government needs 236 votes.
