Several dozen incidents were reported in early morning in the presidential election day on Sunday. Criminal files were opened against three people in the town of Glina near Bucharest, while other irregularities across the country included voting sections opening late and annulled ballots.

Criminal files were opened against three people in Glina under charges of attempted fraud in the voting process, according to an Ilfov county police spokesman quoted by Agepress news agency. A member of a voting section commission offered two surplus ballots to a family. The ballots were not introduced in the ballot booth.

Overall, some 57 incidents were reported by 10 a.m. this morning and 103 by 11 a.m., including reports about attempts to buy votes.
