The turnout for the referendum on the unicameral Parliament and the decrease of the number of Parliamentarians, after centralizing all data from the voting sections was 50.91%, according to the final provisional results published on Wednesday. 77.78% of the voters opted for the unicameral Parliament and 88.84% opted for the decrease in the number of Parliamentarians.
To consider the referendum valid, it is needed 50% +1 of the voters on the lists, irrespective of the number of void votes, president of the Central Electoral Office Marian Muhulet declared for HotNews.ro.
