Some 7.52% of Romanian voters showed up and cast their ballots in the second round of the presidential elections by 10.00 a.m. on Sunday, according to data of the Central Electoral Office. Turnout was higher than that in the first round of the election on November 22, when 6.17% of voters cast their ballots by 10.00 a.m..

In Bucharest, turnout stood at 6.44%.

  • Counties with the highest turnout: Dambovita (12.13%), Mehedinti (11.92%), Ilfov (11.74%)
  • Counties with the lowest turnout: Harghita (3.47%), Covasna (4.14%), Satu Mare (4.80%)
