Bucharest Appellate Court decided on Friday that Dan Voiculescu collaborated with the Communist secret services structure, Securitate. The decision is not final and can be attacked.

The state institution investigating the Communist files, CNSAS, adopted in June 2006 a decision ruling that Voiculesc collaborated with the Securitate structures and he released information concerning his relatives and colleagues who were planning to flee the country.

Voiculescu denied the information and attacked to court the decision. Voiculescu claimed that he offered information about foreigners, as he was obliged to earn a living, Bucharest Court documents reveal.
