Craiova's mayor Antonie Solomon received a temporary arrest order for 29 days. The decision of the Arges Court can be contested. Solomon declared that he did not expect the decision and claims that prosecutors do not have any proof. Solomon is accused of bribery and forgery.

Sources declared that there were about 200,000 euro found in Solomon's house. Anti-draft prosecutors found the sum, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. According to sources, Solomon is suspected of receiving from FC Arges's investor Cornel Penescu 50,000 euro in exchange of some authorizations.

And another 10,000 euro in exchange for a decision to install a bus station nearby Penescu's supermarket.
