IMF chief in an official visit to Romania end of March

IMF General Director Dominique Strauss Kahn will arrive in Bucharest on March 30 as part of his European tour, a press release of the institution reads. Dominique Strauss Kahn will be accompanied by the European department director, Marek Belka, and by IMF Romanian chief Jeffrey Franks.

During the visit, the IMF chief will have a series of talks with President Basescu, PM Emil Boc and representatives of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, Finance minister Sebastian Vladescu and Romania's National Bank Governor Mugur Isarescu.
