Poland will organise early presidential elections, a Polish Government spokesperson announced, Reuters informs. We remind our readers that after the Polish President Lech Kaczynski's death this morning in a plane crash in Russia, the temporary president is now Bronislaw Komorowski, head of the Polish Parliament Lower Chamber.

Presidential elections were scheduled for the end of 2010 in Poland.

"It is high likely hat the representative of the present party in power wins. I believe that the death of President Kaczynsky will change the political proportions aspect in Poland, with the emotional feature to play a major role", Russian politics expert Pavel Sviatenkov.
