President Traian Basescu called the government to consultations on Tuesday, 2PM. According to the Presidential administration, the themes address are public spending cuts, decrease of social spending by better targeting social protection beneficiaries.
The announcement follows the President's declarations last week, when he said that he will call the government to consultations as it failed to lay off the necessary personnel.
Politicals are not willing to sacrifice the country to increase salaries and pensions, Basescu said. He criticized the party because it is not taking the necessary steps to help the country exit the crisis.
